What is International Foundation Diploma?
The Victoria Central Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies is a one-year, OFQUAL-regulated pre-university qualification. It is designed to develop essential skills in English, mathematics, research, and academic study, helping students transition smoothly into undergraduate programs. The diploma offers access to globally recognized universities and covers a wide range of fields, including Business, Computing, Engineering, Finance, Law, Science, Healthcare, and Art. Ideal for international students, it builds a strong foundation in both language and subject-specific knowledge, preparing learners for academic success worldwide.
Programme Details:
- Duration: Approx. 8 months
- Structure: Semester 1 (4 months), Semester 2 (4 months)
- Assessment: Mix of exams and assignments
- Entry: 5 O/Ls including Math and English (work experience can be considered)
- Tuition: LKR 320,000 | Reg. Fee: LKR 50,000 | Boarding: GBP 400 (foreign students: LKR 550,000 + Reg. Fee LKR 100,000)
- Outcome: Entry into L4 & L5 or direct to university if eligible
